Join 107-3 and our Host Darron Story for our virtual town hall to discuss the KU Med Center Repair Project on Wednesday, September 28th from 6p-7p. We will have a panel to discuss the stories of mistreatment In The Healthcare System. For Generations, African Americans Have Had Our Health Complaints Overlooked, Our Knowledge Of Our Own Bodies Dismissed, And Our Pain Ignored. KU Med Center is Launching A Listening Tour For Greater Kansas City Residents To Tell Their Stories. Join the conversation and share your input as we host this LIVE town hall.
We’ve Received Substandard Care, And We’ve Been Experimented Upon When We Visit A Doctor, Sometimes Without Our Consent. If This Has Ever Happened To You Or Someone You Love, Then You’re Invited To Be Heard And Help Document The Past While Helping The Future. Researchers At The University Of Kansas Medical Center Are Partnering With The Black Archives Of Mid-America To Gather These Stories As Part Of An Oral History Project.
We Want You To Be A Part Of The Process To Repair These Harms.
